What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Statement of Faith

As a community, we celebrate diversity and affirm that everyone is made in God's image, called to love and serve one another. Committed to the Great Commission, we strive to share the Gospel, make disciples, and serve our communities compassionately. We hold firmly to the promise of eternal life for all who trust in Jesus and the hope of His return.

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Better Together Christian Community Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

God

There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

BIBLE

We uphold the Bible as only inspired and infallible written Word of God, which guides our faith and practice.

Jesus Christ

We affirm the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death, and resurrection as our Savior and Lord.

Salvation

Salvation is a grace-filled gift received through faith in Jesus alone, leading to transformation and new life.

Holy Spirit

We recognize the Holy Spirit’s active role in empowering believers, guiding us in truth, and convicting us of sin.

The Church

The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ, sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ressurection

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
